James Manning Wilson Sr., 63, Cynthiana, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
He was born in Harrison County, May 31, 1950, to the late Ira Manning and Hattie Franklin Wilson. He was a retired T I Automotive employee and a member of Central Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Dean Wilson, and a great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Ann Wilson.
Survivors include: his wife, Dawonia Kelly Wilson; two sons, Jim Wilson Jr. and Thomas Edward (Layla) Wilson, both of Cynthiana; seven daughters, Julie Ann Wilson, Michele Wilson, Donna Wilson (Kevin) Miller, Tanya Blake and Kim Wilson (Jarrod) Biddle, all of Cynthiana, Dolly Conner, Lexington, Dorothy Wilson, Georgetown; four brothers, Ed (Gretchen) Wilson, Ohio, Gary (Carlene) Wilson, Paris, Mike (Kathy) Wilson and Scottie (Sandy) Ritchie, both of Cynthiana; a sister, Barbara (Jeep) Morris, Cynthiana; 13 grandchildren, James Wilson III, Jami Miller, Jaden Miller, DJ Wilson, Danny Jo Wilson, Katelyn Hollar, Julian Wilson, Jordan Hollar, Morgan Hollar, Jackson Wilson, Nathaniel Wilson, Logan and Alyissa Biddle; and a great-grandson, Karson James Hollar.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 11 at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Benny Northcutt. Burial was in Pythian Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Scottie Ritchie, Kevin Miller, Thomas Wilson, James M. Wilson III, Jim Wilson Jr., Larry Kelly, Donna Wilson Miller, Dorothy Wilson and Roger Lemons.
