Louise Kendall Lake(1920 - 2014)

Louise Kendall Garnett Lake, 93, Cynthiana, Ky., died Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Hospice Care, Lexington, Ky.
She was born in Harrison County, Ky., Sept. 2, 1920, to the late Will and Hettie Stewart Garnett. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a retired nurse, having worked at Harrison Memorial Hospital, Grand Haven Nursing Home and Dover Manor Nursing Home.
Her husband, Robert Lee Lake and granddaughter, Jessica Simpson preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two sons, Robert S. Lake and William C. Lake; four daughters, Mary Louise Kravec, Renna J. Collins, Ann Masters and Jane Simpson; grandchildren, Renna Merideth Lake, Katherine Gardner Lake, Lois May, Lesley Scott, Steve Rose, David Masters, Andrea Brandenburg, Jaclyn Rawlings and Lauren Yazell; and two great-grandchildren, Keith Rose and Elijah Rose.
Services will be Thursday, March 6 at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Patrick Laney at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Cynthiana-Harrison County Food Pantry or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
