Jimmy Haufler, 69, Cynthiana, died Monday, July 1, 2013 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Harrison County, Sept. 10, 1943, to the late J.W. Haufler and Anna Elizabeth Barlow Taylor. He was a Kroger employee, a member of the Cynthiana Elk's Lodge #438 and was baptized at Ruddles Mill Christian Church, and was an avid fisherman and gardener.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Wayne Haufler; three step-brothers, Freddie Taylor, Donnie Taylor and Frankie Taylor and a grandson, Neil Evan Brown.
Survivors include: two daughters, Michelle (Scott) Grannis and Tracy (Mike) Brown, both of Cynthiana; a brother, Gary (Joyce Kyle) Haufler, Lexington; two sisters, Joann Florence and Beth (Cash Sexton)Keeton, both of Cincinnati; six step brothers and step sisters, Mattie Ammerman, Peggy (David) Cordray, Neva Taylor, Billy Joe (Dixie) Taylor, Larry (Vicky) Taylor and Bobby Wayne Taylor; three grandchildren, Kelsey (Patrick) McNutt, Bailey Brown and Courtney Grannis, all of Cynthiana; a great-granddaughter, Lilly Brown; a step sister-in-law, Paula Taylor; and two special friends, Patsy Bumgardener and Kent Bruce.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 4 at 10:30 a.m. at Ware Funeral Home by Pastor Mike Coppersmith. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
