Abram "Al" Allen Isaac, 60, Lexington, formerly of Cynthiana, died Monday, April 18, 2016 at Hospice Care Center in Lexington.
He was born in Cynthiana, March 28, 1956 to the late Jimmy and Lois Wiglesworth Isaac. He was a roofer, a member of Cynthiana Elks Lodge #438 and was inducted into the Cynthiana-Harrison County Baseball Hall of Fame in 2015. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcat fan.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Turner Isaac; two daughters, Alison Isaac (Chris) Lipscomb, Lexington and Betsy Isaac Montgomery and her son, Forrest, Georgetown; two brothers, Russell Isaac, Cynthiana and Billy Isaac, Lexington; a special niece, Jessica Isaac, Pikeville; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 23 at 1 p.m. at Ware Funeral Home by the Rev. Garry Polston. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday with an Elks service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 1317 U.S Hwy. 62 East, Cynthiana, KY 41031.
Pallbearers will be Mike Wachter, Lee Kendall, Larry Turner, John Scott, George Frazier and Mike Lenox.
Honorary pallbearers will be Forrest Montgomery, Chris Lipscomb, Morgan Barnes, Abigail Barnes, Cameron Barnes and Taylor Mullins.
