Anna Sue (Bean) Nichols, 87, Cynthiana, died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Harrison County, March 6, 1930 to the late Walker and Cora Tucker Bean, was a factory worker, farmer and a member of Assembly of God in Carlisle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mac Nichols Sr., her siblings and a great-grandson, Asher Nichols.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry (Debbie) Nichols and Charles Mac Nichols Jr.; a daughter, Linda Sue (David) Taylor; a sister, Dorothy Miller; six grandchildren, Alice (Doug) Schelling, Pamela (David) Threlkeld, David (Jessie) Taylor Jr.; Charles Mac Nichols III, Crystal Dawn Nichols, Jerry Wayne (Kellie) "J.J." Nichols; and 11 great-grandchildren, Alexie Nichols, Mason Nichols, Wesley David Schelling, Megan Taylor Schelling, Raeburn Thomas Taylor, Carolina "Carly" Sue Taylor, Robert Harrington Threlkeld, Taylor Noëlle Threlked, Austin Bradyon Nichols, Wesley Clay Nichols and Macayden Christopher Nichols.
A funeral service will be held Monday, March 5 at 11 a.m. at Ware Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Beginnings Church of Carlisle, 1475 Concrete Road, Carlisle, KY 40311.
