Barbara Sue ""Bobbie"" Rose, 69, died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Edgemont Manor Health Care.
She was born Sept. 27, 1944 in Bourbon County, Ky., a daughter of the late Garnett and Kathryn Ishmael Rose. She was a graduate of Harrison County High School, a member of Trinity Baptist Church, had been a secretary for the Department of Mines and Minerals and worked for Yellow Freight Line.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Rose.
Survivors include: three brothers, Gerald Rose, Georgetown, Johnny Rose, Paris, and Kenny Rose, Cynthiana; three sisters, Joan Lawson, Cynthiana, Doris Adams, Georgetown and Cindy Clifford, Cynthiana.
Services were held at the convenience of the family. Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
