Beatrice Mae Ammerman, 84, Gainesville, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014.
She was born March 4, 1930 in Lexington, Ky., worked as a school nurse in Littlewood Elementary School, and enjoyed listening to classical music.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Clarence B. Ammerman; children, David (Karen) Ammerman, Douglas Ammerman and Annette Verschaeve; sister, Louise Corbin; and grandchildren, Lauren and Tucker Ammerman and Corbin and Reubin Verschaeve.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Aug. 28 at 1 p.m. in The First United Methodist Church, 419 NE First Street, with the Rev. Carl Romey and Pastor David Averill officiating.
