Benjamin "Benny" Ross Beagle, 77, Cynthiana, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, at Edgemont Healthcare in Cynthiana.
She was born on Oct. 24, 1938 in Harrison County, Ky., a son of the late James Ross and Ella Mae Beagle. On Nov. 16, 1957, he married Doris Faye Wiglesworth Beagle, and his dear wife of 56 years preceded him in death on July 25, 2014. He was a mechanic and service manager with Herb Jones Chevrolet in Cynthiana, a member of Cynthiana Christian Church, and an avid UK fan.
He is survived by five children, Dudley Ross (Eve) Beagle of Houston, Texas, Jeffrey Mitchell (Debbie) Beagle of Georgetown, Ky., Deanna (Chris) Lunsford of Cynthiana, Belinda (Terry) Honican of Maysville, Ky., and Joel Alan (Kim) Beagle of Cynthiana; eight grandchildren, Jessica Beagle, Jeremy Beagle, Miranda Beagle Campbell, Meredith Ishmael, Stephen Honican, Tamara Lunsford, Morgynne Lunsford, and Hayden Lunsford; four great-grandchildren, Baylee Hudgins, Noah Beagle, Raeleigh Campbell, and Tomse Ishmael; one brother, Keith Beagle of Cynthiana; two sisters, Peggy McNabb of Berry, Ky. and Janet Beagle of Cynthiana; and a host of extended family and friends.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, Nov. 19 at 3:30 p.m. at Woodhead Funeral Home, Berry. Visitation will be from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday preceding the service. Burial will take place in Pythian Grove Cemetery, Berry.
Memorials are suggested to Cynthiana Christian Church.
