Betty Ammerman, 77, Falmouth, Ky., died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015 at Harrison Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born in Pendleton County, Feb. 22, 1938, to the late Floyd and Flora Cason Wright, and was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Marie Ammerman; six brothers and three sisters.
She was a retired Harrison County school teacher and a member of Blanket Creek Baptist Church where she served as youth leader and Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include: her husband, Bob Ammerman; son, Mike (Debbie) Ammerman, Cynthiana; three brothers; a sister; three grandchildren, Sarah Clay (Dustin) Ross, Cynthiana, Rachel (Beau) Sanders, Lexington and Charlie (Holly) Ammerman, Cynthiana; and two great-grandchildren, Gabriel Ross and Delilah Ammerman.
Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 12 at 1 p.m. at Ware Funeral Home by the Rev. Joe Hall, Bro. Harry Crozier and Bro. Mike Hays. Entombment will be in A. Keller Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Blanket Creek Baptist Church Youth Group.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Ammerman, Dustin Ross, Beau Sanders, Mike Kinder, Phillip Wright and Steve Wright.
