Bill Turner, 67, Cynthiana, died Friday, June 3, 2016 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Bourbon County, March 31, 1949 to the late Russell Gordon and Louella Barnes Turner. He was a retired senior customer engineer from IBM, United States Army Vietnam veteran, school bus driver for the Harrison County Board of Education and a member of Leesburg Christian Church. He was preceded in death by a stillborn daughter and two sisters, Wilma Stewart and Reva Turner.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rosemary H. Turner; a son, William Brice (Sunshine) Turner, Harrison County; a daughter, Marireed (Jeff) Goldey, Harrison County; a sister, Anna Gasser, Bourbon County; six grandchildren, Brock Goldey, Sabreena Strickland, Ryan Chase Brown, Johnathan Strickland, Nathaniel Goldey and Brayden Turner; a great-granddaughter, Lizabeth Smith; and many very special friends.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 7 at Leesburg Christian Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Leesburg Christian Church Children's Program, c/o Zach Pergram.
