Billie Rice Fryman, 86, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at Harrison Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Harrison County, Ky., June 25, 1927, to the late Rice and Gertrude Bell Anderson Fryman.
He had worked at Harrison Motor as service manager, McLoney's Farm Store as manager and retired from Southern States as manager. He was a member and elder of Cynthiana Christian Church where he served on many church boards through the years, served on the airport board, was an avid radio control model airplane enthusiast and a Kentucky Colonel. He was an honorably discharged Navy veteran of World War II, having served on the USS Casablanca.
His wife June Carolyn Sosby Fryman preceded him in death.
Survivors include: one brother, J. Leslie Fryman, Cynthiana; niece and nephew, Jennifer (John) Lemmings, Cynthiana and Stephen Leslie (Tammy) Fryman, Noblesville, Ind.; two great-nephews, Spencer and Ben Lemmings; and several cousins.
Services were held Wednesday, Oct. 23 at Cynthiana Christian Church by Dr. Larry W. Bishop and Dr. Tim Teater, with burial in Battle Grove Cemetery. Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
