Bobby Caudill, 68, Georgetown, died Monday, June 15, 2015 at Georgetown Community Hospital.
He was born in Floyd County, July 4, 1946 to the late Mary Caudill Stephens, and was a coal miner, heavy equipment operator and a member of Cynthiana Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Sue Blades Caudill; his grandparents who raised him, John C. and Lou Rainie Caudill; a step-father, Rubin Stephens; a sister, Barbara Ann Stephens Akers; a nephew, Nathaniel Meade; and a special aunt and uncle, Maggie and Soloman Caudill.
Survivors include: two daughters, Tracie (Johnny) Layne, Langley and Autumn (Mike) Tipton, Paris; two brothers, Danny Carl (Mary) Stephens and Theodore "Ted" Thomas (Debbie) Stephens, both of Martin; a sister, Nancy Lou Stephens (Skip) Meade, Dwale; four grandchildren, Kyle Preston Layne, Ethan Brice Layne, Jonathan Trace Layne and Cal Daniel (Hannah) Jenkins; two brothers-in-law, Danny (Faye Ingram) Blades, Georgetown and Donald (Jennie) Blades, Paris; a sister-in-law, Cathy (Stephen) Richie; eight nephews, Nicholas Richie, Joshua (Jessica) Richie, Ashley (Amy) Pensinger, Danny F. Blades, Danny K. (Amy) Blades, Brent Akers, Bob Akers, Shawn Stephens; seven nieces, Megan (Tim Wiley) Richie, Kinley (Mark) Blades-Risinger, Tina Reed, Donna Lanter, April Stephens, Amy Williamson and Staci Stephens; and several great-nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 19 at 1 p.m. at Ware Funeral Home by Jeffrey Jackson. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ware Funeral Home and 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Hall Funeral Home in Floyd County. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
