Carl Kurz, 85, Cynthiana, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016 at Baptist Health in Lexington.
He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, Sept. 11, 1931 to the late Carl Kurz and Rose Weber Kurz. He was a member of Cynthiana Christian Church and a retired employee of Cleveland Twist Drill, where he was a plant manager.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sarah "Sally" Louise Kohler Kurz; two sons, Carl A. (Debbie) Kurz, Lexington and George (Tammy) Kurz, Cynthiana; and three grandchildren, Ryan Kurz, Kevin Kurz and Jordy Kurz.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 11 a.m. at Ware Funeral Home by Dr. Larry Bishop and Dr. Tim Teater. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Browns EMS and Harrison County Volunteer Fire Department.
