Charles W. Forsythe, 85, Cynthaina, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 20, 1929 in Harrison County, Ky., a son of the late Anthony T. and Lillian Mae Courtney Forsythe.
He was a former member, Elder and Deacon of Antioch Mills Christian Church, was co-owner of Enterprise Four Tobacco Warehouse and was the owner of C&W Western Horse Arena from 1991-2004. He spent his lifetime farming and was an honorably discharged Army veteran having served his country during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Elwood Forsythe.
Survivors include: his wife of 64 years, Anna Louise McNees Forsythe; one son, Charles Wesley (Anita) Forsythe Jr.; one daughter, Joan Lee (Kenny) Price; one brother, Richard (Mary) Forsythe; three grandchildren, Kendra Jo Price Jones, Bradley Scott (Heather) Price, Kyle Wayne (Belinda) Price; and four great-grandchildren, Haleigh Jones, Keene, Hollyn and Cruse Price.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Dec. 24 at 11 a.m. at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, officiated by Gary Barnard and the Rev. Evan Meyer. Burial with military honors will follow in Battle Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: Kerry Florence, Steve Kitts, Wesley Forsythe, Kenny, Brad and Kyle Price.
Honorary pallbearers: Clarence Courtney Jr., Paul Foster, Carol Doyle, Dean Peak, Kenneth Butcher, Tom Tobin and Gordon Smith.
