Christine P. Ingram, 94, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Cedar Ridge Health Care Campus in Cynthiana.

She was born May 2, 1918 in Harrison County, Ky., a daughter of the late Luther and Naoma McConnell Platt. She was a homemaker, member of Central Christian Church and a former Thursday Club member.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hiram Eugene Ingram in 1997, brothers, Roy, Erman, Cecil, Melvin, and Ottis Platt, and her sisters, Gertie Layton and Louanne Ingram.
Survivors include: her son, Lowell (Linda) Ingram, Rixeyville, Va.; four daughters, Lynda (Ron) Mason, Irving, N.Y., Donna (Ron) Simkins, Urbana, Ill., Annell Cheug, San Leandro, Calif., and Lisa (Earl) Hurst of Cynthiana; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 24 at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home officiated by Bro. Paul Stamper. Burial followed the service in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
