Donald Rogers Wade, 79, Cynthiana, died Sunday, May 19, 2013.
He was born in Harrison County, April 17, 1934, to the late Robert and Emma Lou Withers Wade. He was a retired Cynthiana Tool & Die employee, a Little League coach for 14 years and a school bus driver for the Harrison County School System.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffery Lane Wade and Gregory Thomas Wade; brother, Robert Dale Wade; sister, Carolyn Williams; two great-grandchildren, Glen Ray Yazell III, Carley Nicole Yazell.
Survivors include: his wife, Elizabeth Reffett Wade; a son, Roger (Rachel) Wade, Cynthiana; a daughter, Teresa (Billy) Harp, Cynthiana; two sisters, Ann Simpson, Cynthiana and Rita (Doug) Link, Bourbon County; four grandchildren, Jenny (Joe) Nichols, Jaime (Mark) Posey, Ashley (Glen Jr.) Yazell and Brett (Kali) Wade; eight great-grandchildren, Brady Posey, Marleigh Posey, Tripp Nichols, Charlie Yazell, Tinley Yazell, Brock Wade, Kamden Wade, Lexi Switzer; father and mother-in-law, James and Mary Reffett
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 23 at 11 a.m. at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Mitch Farthing. Burial will be in Pythian Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass or Pleasant Green Baptist Church Building Fund.
