Frances Midden Obituary

Frances Jones Midden, 86, Cynthiana, died Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Wooton, Ky., Jan. 30, 1929 to the late Clem and Margaret Dixon Jones, and was preceded in death by her husband, George Bernard Midden Jr.; four brothers, Richmond Jones, Kelly Jones, Luke Jones and George Jones and two sisters, Callie Eglen and Hallie Dixon. She was a retired registered nurse for Harrison Memorial Hospital and was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church and Altar Society, Garden Club and Harrison County Homemakers.
Survivors include: a daughter, Mary Fran (Bill) Melton, Danville; a sister, Cleo Calhoun, Cynthiana; two grandchildren, Brian (Chelsea) Melton and Valerie (Brianna MacKenzie) Melton; four great-grandchildren, Aiden Melton, Andrea MacKenzie, Raven MacKenzie and Mari MacKenzie; and her special friends, the Golf Card Group, Jean Fowler and Mary Ann Perraut.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family in the great loss of Fran. I worked with her for years at HMH. We went out to eat on several occasions and always had a great time after we retired.
