Garnett W. Fryman, 74, died Sunday, July 23, 2017 at his residence in Cynthiana.
He was born in Pendleton County, March 24, 1943 to the late Herman Lee and Flossie J. Platt Fryman, and was preceded in death by one brother, Williams J. Fryman. He was a lifetime farmer and employed by Eaton Foundries and Grede Perm Cast, was a Kentucky Colonel, and was a mentor and a Little League coach for three years. He was a Christian and worshiped at Harrison County and Central Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Billie L. Hall Fryman; one brother, Lorenza Fryman; one sister, Anita Jean Buckler; and a whole host of nieces and nephews, who he helped raise some of them, but they all felt like his children. He was loved by everyone who knew him.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 28 at 1 p.m. at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Jim Hardy. Visitation will be Thursday, July 27 from 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Benjamin Allen, Kevin Buckler, Robert Collins, Brandon Fryman, Terry Scott Fryman, Jerry Allen, David Fryman, Jared Fryman and Austin Fryman.
Honorary pallbearers will be, Douglas Hall, Billy Daryl Fryman, Robert Fisher, Lorenza Lee Fryman, Lester Martin, Ernest Smith, Rocky Smith, Jesse Childress, Terry Fryman, Tommy Sexton and James Bentley.
