Georgia Alma Polley Smith, 89, Cynthiana, died Monday, July 8, 2013, at Harrison Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Harrison County, July 22, 1923, to the late William Edwin Polley and Myrtle McGee Williams. She was a homemaker and a former Farmers National Bank employee, attended Unity Christian Church and Cynthiana Christian Church and was a member of the Harrison County Homemakers.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jennings B. Humphrey and Arthur T. Smith, a brother, William Polley and a sister, Margaret McCauley.
Survivors include: a son, Edwin (Lula) Humphrey, Cynthiana; a sister, Dorothy Switzer, Richmond; two grandchildren, Randy Scott (Brigette) Humphrey, Vero Beach, Fla. and Christopher Thain (Barbara) Humphrey, San Francisco, Calif.; three great-grandchildren, Cole Humphrey, Aspen Georgia Humphrey and Dakota Humphrey; and two great-great-grandchildren, Hunter and Riley Ann Humphrey.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 13 at 11 a.m. at Ware Funeral Home by Dr. Larry Bishop and Bro. Wayne B. Smith. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
