James Edward Stroub, 66, Mt. Sterling, died Friday, April 4, 2014.
He was born Sept. 4, 1947 in Harrison County, Ky., a son of the late Everett and Margaret Wiggins Stroub. He attended Pleasant Green Baptist Church, was a member of the Elks Lodge#438, was a former member of the Kentucky Draft Horse Association, was in the Army Reserves and was a retired employee of IBM/Lexmark.
He was preceded in death by a son Brandon Stroub and a brother Rob Stroub.
Survivors include: his wife, Brenda W. Stroub; two sons, Jimbo (Jill) Stroub, Harrison County, and Zack (Chelsea) Stroub, Seymour, Ind.; one brother, Steve (Kathy) Stroub, Harrison County; three sisters, Dorothy (Jack) Harp, Harrison County, Carolyn Whitson, Lewisburg, Tenn., and Sherryl Stroub, Cynthiana; and two grandchildren, Robbie and Abigail Stroub.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 11 at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home. Burial followed in Pythian Grove Cemetery.
