James Henry "Jimmy" Prows, 82, Harrison County, died Friday, Feb. 19, 2016 at his residence.
He was born in Harrison County, Dec. 11, 1933 to the late Stanley L. Sr. and Mae Elliott Prows, and was a farmer and member of Connersville Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by four siblings, Ruth Bean, Stanley Prows Jr., Joella Reed and Samuel Prows and a daughter-in-law, Penny Prows.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Batson Prows; two sons, Jerry (Debbie) Prows and Steven Prows, both of Cynthiana; a sister, Betsy Carol Herron, Cynthiana; three grandchildren, Ethan Prows, Brady Prows and Kenzie Swartz; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Price and Hazel (John) Evans; a brother-in-law, Donnie (Kay) Batson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 22 at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Clifford Neat. Burial was in Battle Grove Cemetery.
