Jean Patterson Arnold Blackburn, 75, Cynthiana, died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014 at her residence.
She was born March 8, 1938 in Harrison County, Ky., was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, a retired Harrison County School System bus driver and former receptionist for Dr. Ferguson, Chiropractor. She was preceded in death by her father Ransom Arnold and a brother Forrest Arnold.
Survivors include: her mother, Ellen Harding Arnold; her husband, Bill Blackburn; two sons, Billy G. and Jeff Blackburn, both of Cynthiana; two brothers, Aubrey (Judy) Arnold and Marshall (Margaret) Arnold; a granddaughter Shannon (Brad) Borum; a great-niece, Taylor Hitchcock; and a cousin, Velma (Bob) Barkley.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 19 at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Wayne Tolson. Burial followed the service in Battle Grove Cemetery.
