Jimmie Nelson Fryman Sr., 82, Memphis, died April 14, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Gertrude Fryman, three brothers, Donald Clyde Fryman, Eddie V. Fryman and Paul W. Fryman, one granddaughter, Leah Frances Russell, and one great-granddaughter.
Survivors include: his loving wife of 60 years, Ruby Britt Fryman, children Denise Russell (David), Jimmie N. Fryman Jr. (LeAnne), Paul Fryman (Sharon), and Diddle Fryman Harris DeMilt (Kurtis), 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one brother, Johnnie (Linda) Fryman, four sisters, Nettie Lou Perrin, Trudie (John) Harrison, Jane (Jerry) Jenkins and Lottie (Tommy) Hamm, all of Cynthiana.
He was a member of Ellendale United Methodist Church, served four years in the US Navy, worked for 38 ½ years with AT&T, and worked selflessly his entire life to help family, neighbors, and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 18 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. Burial followed at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
