John Llewellyn Lewis Hall, 67, a resident of Neon, Ky., died Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

He was the son of the late Benjamin Harrison Hall and Sadie Imel Hall, and was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Magnuson; a sister, Patty Harper Elson; and a brother, Hubert Hall.
Survivors include: six children. Ellen Toothman, Jenkins, Ky., Lillian Kay Seither, Paris, John F. B. Hall, Harrison County, Marguerite Gudorf, Vandalia, Ohio, Timothy E. Hall, Jenkins, Ky., and Katherine Hall, McCleney, Fla.; seven sisters, Bonnie E. Collins, Georgetown, Ernestene Bentley and Billie Fryman, both of Sadieville, Lillian Fisher, Vandalia, Vera Anderson, McRoberts, Ky., Diane Pilkenton, Bristol, Va., and Starla Jackson Fleming, Jackhorn, Ky.; and a brother, Douglas Hall.
He was a Christian and a member of McRoberts Church of Christ, was a retired coal miner equipment salesman, was loved and respected by all who knew him and will be missed by his grandchildren, nephews, nieces and large family.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 2 at Ware Funeral Home by Jim Harding and Richard Overman. Burial was in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Donald W. Kiser Scholarship Fund of Maysville Community and Technical College.
