Joseph Ray ""Joby"" Debruler Sr., 76, Cynthiana, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014 at Bourbon Community Hospital in Paris.

He was born in Harrison County, April 10, 1937 to the late Ollie Thomas and Silverence Kelley Debruler. He was a farmer and a member of New Beginnings Worship Center. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillie May St. John Debruler, a daughter, Gracie Anne Debruler, and three sisters, Mary Anne Fryman, Bessie Bylue and Gracie Hunt.
Survivors include: his wife, Jean Debruler; three sons, Dennis Debruler and Joseph Wayne (Barbara) Debruler, both of Paris and Marty Thomas Debruler, Nicholasville; a daughter, Teresa Lynn (James) Smith, Nicholasville; four step children, Phillip (Mildred) Williams, Harrison County and Larry (Mary) Williams, Gary (Rita) Williams and Andrea (Tony) Kearns, all of Cynthiana; two sisters, Cathleen Pettie, Lagrange and Louise Baker, Cynthiana; three grandchildren, Jeffery (Gina) Debruler, Josh Debruler and Amanda Mae (Scotty Leach) Debruler; six great-grandchildren, Sarah Lynn Golden, Waylon Scott Leach, McKenna Kate Leach, Colton Debruler, Sydney Debruler and Abby Debruler; and two step great-grandchildren, J. D. and Summer Davis.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 21 at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Keith Sparks. Burial was in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to New Beginnings Food Pantry.
Pallbearers were: Jeff Carroll, Jeffery Debruler, Josh Debruler, Todd McFarland, Jerry Fryman and Scott Leach.
