Kenneth B. Leach (1925 - 2016)

Kenneth B. Leach, 91, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, at Thompson Hood Veterans Center, Wilmore, Ky.
He was born in Bourbon County, Ky., July 9, 1925, to the late Orie B. and Pearl Collins Leach. He was a farmer, 4-H teacher, Cynthiana Motor employee and Lebus Tobacco Co. employee. Memberships include Farm Bureau, Planning and Zoning and the Agricultural Board. He was an honorably discharge Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Whalen Leach, grandson, Jesse Ryan Leach and sister, Frances Jarnegin.
Survivors include: his son, Kenneth Ray (Laura) Leach; sister, Edith Mildred Stephenson; grandchidren, Brittany Leann Leach (Keil) Rodman, Laura Ashleigh Ford, Colin Tipton, Erin Tipton, and Kevin Tipton; great-grandchildren, John Keil Rodman, Noah Ford, Seth Tipton, Conner Tipton, Keither Tipton, Hannah Tipton, Ibiza Pearson, Xain Tipton and Ryker Tipton.
Services will be Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 1 p.m. at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home by the Rev. Sam Harris, with burial and Military Honors in Battle Grove Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Harrison County 4-H.
