Larry Charles Mattox, 74, Harrison County, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in Ashland, Jan. 22, 1940, to the late Ora Charles and Mildred Carroway Mattox. He was a 1958 Harrison County High School graduate, attended Leesburg Christian Church and First Church of God, was a former truck driver for Webber's and retired truck driver from Vuteq Corporation in Georgetown.
He is survived by his wife, Deanie Dailey Mattox; a son, Mitch (Angie) Mattox, Harrison County; a daughter, Sheila Mattox, Harrison County; a sister, Clara Wagner, Cynthiana; three grandchildren, Kaleb Mattox, Michael Mattox and Fayth Karrick; and a sister-in-law, Peggy Coy, Harrison County.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Nov. 20 at 11 a.m. at Ware Funeral Home by Pastor Earl Litman. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 1317 U.S. Hwy. 62 East, Cynthiana, KY 41031.
Pallbearers will be Walter ""Bubby"" Karrick, Johnny Courtney, Tinker Jones, George Bradford, Larry Ring and Kaleb Mattox.
