L.C. Bruin, 77, Cynthiana, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016 at his residence.
He was born in Harrison County, Dec. 21, 1938 to the late Ephriam and Bessie Bruin Gooden. He was a retired farmer, and is preceded in death by two brothers, James Bruin and Frank Bruin.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Gilkison Bruin; four sons, Rodney Lee (Casie) Bruin, Thomas Bruin Sr., Chad Bruin (Tanya Wright) and TJ Bruin, all of Cynthiana; one daughter, Sabrina (Grady) Blair of Cynthiana; three brothers, Harold Bruin, Garnett (Susan) Bruin, both of Cynthiana and Wayne (Faye) Bruin, Richmond; and two sisters Janetta Radsvick of Lexington, and BJ (Brian) Blangsted of Arizona; nine grandchildren, Amber Hutchison, Russell (Cassie) Bryant, Sierra Jo Bruin, Jacinda LaBean, Harley Clay Bruin, Raegan Sadler, Katelynn Bruin, Joselyn Bruin, Abby Gayle Bruin; four great-grandchildren, Destinei Hutchison, Madelynn Bryant, Aubrey Strong and Sophia Hosterler; and a special loved one, Gizmo Bruin.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 1 at 1 p.m. at Central Christian Church by the Rev. William Gaunce. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30 at Ware Funeral Home. Burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: TJ Bruin, Russell Bryant, Jerry Reed, Andrew Jones, Wayne Bruin Jr., Michael Bruin, Kevin Soard, Gene Arnold, Vincent Tucker and Josh Tucker.
