Linda Lois Carman, 62, Cynthiana died Friday, Aug. 23, 2013 at Johnson Mathers Nursing Home in Carlisle.

She was born in Cloverport, June 18, 1951, to the late George Edward and Edith Corley Carman. She was a retired CNA from Harrison Memorial Hospital and loved to crochet and sew, was an active member of Oddville Christian Church and a former member of the Blue Monday Bowling League.
She was preceded in death by a nephew, Steven Garrison.
Survivors include: four sisters, Ruth Ann Brierly and Marsha (Donnie) Holland, both of Cynthiana, Sue (Larry) Walters, Lexington and Barbara (Gary) Bennett, Corbin; 10 nieces and nephews, Larry Garrison, Kristie Smart, Leigh Ann Brace, Debbie Landrum, Joe Carman, Michele Coulter, Aimee Thornberry, Heather Sims, Brian Bennett and Beth Howard; 19 great-nieces and great-nephews; and four special friends, Earline North, Martha Campbell, Cybil Vice and Bonnie Matthews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 27 at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Wayne Tolson, Bro. Paul Stamper and Gary Bennett. Burial was in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson Mather's Nursing Home Activity Fund or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
Pallbearers were: Larry Edward Garrison, Brian Bennett, Joe Carman, Donnie Smart, Timmy Brooks, Jacob Tzouanakis, James Howard and Craig Coulter.
Honorary pallbearers were: Kristie Smart, Michele Coulter, Debbie Landrum, Leigh Ann Brace, Aimee Thornberry, Heather Sims, Beth Howard and Austin Garrison.
