Lois Fields McCauley, 91, Cynthiana, Ky., died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at her residence.

She was born in Harrison County, Ky., April 29, 1921, to the late Charles and Lillian Adams Fields. She was a lifetime member of Cynthiana Presbyterian Church, where she served as Elder and had taught Sunday School, member of the Womens' Club of Harrison County and served on the board of the Cynthiana-Harrison County Senior Citizens.
Her husband James Lewis McCauley, two brothers, Gary and Glenn Fields, and sister, Ruth Midden, preceded her in death
Survivors include: one son, Scott (Janet) McCauley and one daughter, Annette McCauley Ewalt, all of Harrison County, Ky.; one sister, Marilyn (Gene) Richie, Harrison County; four grandchildren, Kathleen Mitchell, Joplin, Mo., David (Jennifer) Stewart, Georgetown, Meredith McCauley, Lexington, Ky., and Mason (Haley) McCauley, Lexington; three great-grandchildren, Coleman Mitchell, Hayden and Kendall Stewart.
Services will be Saturday, Dec. 8 at 11 a.m. at Cynthiana Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Patrick Laney, with burial in Battle Grove Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
The family requests memorials be made to Cynthiana-Harrison County Senior Citizens in lieu of flowers.
