Marjorie Ann Taylor (1949 - 2016)

Marjorie Ann Whalen Taylor, 67, Cynthiana, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington.
She was born in Harrison County, Ky., Sept. 5, 1949, a daughter of the late Russell Beckett and Lillian Amy Moore Whalen. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Cynthiana Woman's Club and was the retired owner of Whalen's Jewelry.
Survivors include: her husband, Edward H. Taylor, two sons, Matthew (Brynn) Taylor and Michael (Casey) Taylor, one daughter, Sarah Taylor, one brother, John (Gerry) Whalen, six grandchildren, Caitlin, Peyton, Lucas, William, Henry, and Sammy Taylor, all of Cynthiana; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 5 at 3:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, officiated by Dr. Ted Beam. Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
