Nellie Frances Florence Holland, 92, Cynthiana, widow of Charley M. Holland, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013.

She was born in Bourbon County, Ky. March 24, 1921, a daughter of the late John H. and Molie Stivers Florence. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a farmer and a homemaker.
Survivors include: her daughters Rita (Sherrill) Clifford and Judy Holland, both of Harrison County; a sister, Phyllis Lawson; her grandson, Dr. Timothy (Laura) Clifford, Lexington; her great-grandsons, Grant, Jackson and Ethan Clifford; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Janie Williams and Garnetta Ruth Florence.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 26 at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Don Scilley, the Rev. Richard Kendall, and the Rev. Mike Coppersmith. Burial was in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
Pallbearers were: Timothy Clifford, Stephen Eads, Larry Tislow, Barry Lawson, Zachary Traylor and Robert Lawson.
Honorary pallbearers were: Harold Louis Eads, L.T. Williams, Nathan Lawson, Wayne McKinley, Dr. Don R. Stephens, William Doan and J. Frank Marsh.
