Ray Allen Fogle, 84, Harrison County, died Monday, April 21, 2014.
He was born in Cynthiana, Ky., June 11, 1929 to the late Robert and Mary Lou Harris Fogle. He was a farmer and worked at several factories, including Kawneer and Grede Foundries, from which he retired and was a United States Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by a brother, George Fogle; three sisters, Velma Jane Fogle, Mary Elizabeth Fogle and Hildreth (John D.) Taylor, and a foster son, Glenn C. Fryman.
Survivors include: his wife of 56 years, Wilma Hensley Fogle; four sons, Kevin Soard, Ray A. Fogle Jr., Roger Soard and Mitchell Fogle; two daughters, Charlotte Cook and Gina (Larry) Price; two brothers, Paul and Donnie Fogle; a sister, Mable (Garnet) Feeback; a mother-in-law, Effie Hensley; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 27 at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Ray Snider. Burial was in Lower Curry Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Curry Church Trustee Cemetery Fund, 1925 Upper Curry Road North, Cynthiana, KY 41031.
Pallbearers were: Jaye Whalen, Johnny Paul Taylor, Tom Dunn, Ricky Denny, Wayne Spencer and Bradley Copes.
Honorary pallbearers were: Dallas and Kenny Hensley, Mose Kiskaden, Larry Price, Walt Saylor, Jackson Marsh and his grandsons.
