Rena Margaret McCauley Wilson, 96, Cynthiana, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2016.
She was born in Harrison County, Ky., April 24, 1920, a daughter of the late Ezra and Lucy Harney McCauley. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and member of Salem Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Chester Wilson, son-in-law, Virgil Jenkins, and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include: one son, Jim (Diane) Wilson, one daughter, Phyllis (John) Grayson, of Cynthiana; six grandchildren, Timothy (Laura) Wilson, Janette (Johnny) Shirey, Jeff (Rebecca) Jenkins, Kimberly (Dwight Hill) Jenkins, Jennifer (David) Ward, Matt (Sandra) Grayson; 15 great-grandchildren, Grace and Holden Wilson, Corban, Caden, Caleb and Eden Shirey, Cal and Simon Jenkins, Addison and Max Ogden, Wilson, Jeremy, Joe Decker and Miriam Ward, and John Taylor Grayson.
Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 28 at 11 a.m. at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Dale Kendrick. Burial will follow the service in the Salem Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salem Mission Fund, or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
