Ronnie Allen Gaunce, 69, Cynthiana, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at his residence.

He was born in Carlisle, Jan. 2, 1943, to the late Freddie and Opal Jackson Gaunce. He was a farmer, owner and operator of Gaunce & Son Fencing and a member of Saltwell Methodist Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Rebecca Hedges Gaunce; two sons, Kenny (Kim) Gaunce and Andy (Hacksaw) Gaunce, both of Cynthiana; a daughter, Melissa (Mark) Fryman, Cynthiana; two stepsons, Doug (Crystal) Roberts, Richmond and Craig (Star) Roberts, Cynthiana; a sister, Becky (Wayne) Gum, Carlisle; and 10 grandchildren, Luke Gaunce, Clint Gaunce, Zack Gaunce, Andra Gaunce, Britt Campbell, Carsey Campbell, Kayla Linville, Christian Owens, Angel Owens and Isiah Roberts.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 17 at Ware Funeral Home by the Rev. Daryl Gaunce.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Honorary pallbearers were: Kenny Williams, Roy Earlywine, Dr. Frank McKemie, Billy Ross, Fuzzy McCarty and Irvin Hawkins.
