Ruby Cunningham, 99, Cynthiana, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 27, 2015 at her residence.
She was born in Harrison County, March 21, 1916, to the late Enoch and Katie Anness Bryant, and was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Allen Cunningham; a daughter, Geneva Mae Cunningham; a brother, Fred Bryant; three sisters, Edna Mae Claypool, Mildred Hochadel and Helen Jean Winkle; and a great-grandson, Dwayne Perkins. She was a homemaker and the oldest member of Cynthiana Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Paul B. (Rosie) Cunningham and Lester Lee Cunningham, both of Cynthiana; a daughter, Jean (Clay) Rose, Winchester; an aunt, Emma Lee Pigg, Illinois; a sister, Elizabeth Jenkins, Cynthiana; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many special friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 31 at 2 p.m. at Ware Funeral Home by the Rev. Patrick Whyte and the Rev. Wayne Spivey. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Pythian Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cynthiana Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Steve Cunningham, Johnny Cunningham, Allen Cunningham, Gary Cunningham, Jeff Rose and Hunter Henson.
