Sylvia Ann Jacobs Fryman, 75, Cynthiana, died Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Harrison County, Ky., Dec. 5, 1937, a daughter of the late Richard T. and Elizabeth Prater Jacobs.
She was a member of Cynthiana Christian Church, a retired school teacher having taught in the Harrison County School System, a member of the Harrison County Retired Teachers Association and was a Kentucky Colonel.
Her brother James Robert Jacobs preceded her in death.
Survivors include: her husband, J. Leslie Fryman; her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen Leslie and Tammy Fryman of Noblesville, Ind.; her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and John Lemmings of Cynthiana; brothers, Richard T. (Shirley) Jacobs Jr., Lexington, and George William (Donna) Jacobs of Cynthiana; a sister-in-law, Alice Jacobs of Cynthiana; and her grandsons, Spencer Thomas and Benjamin Jacob Lemmings, Cynthiana.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 17 at Cynthiana Christian Church, officiated by Dr. Larry W. Bishop and Dr. Timothy Teater. Burial was in Battle Grove Cemetery. Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
