Vickie Baxter Williams, 55, Paris, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 at her residence.
She was born in Kenton County, May 3, 1961 and was adopted at the age of six by Ken and Lee Drake Baxter of Lexington. She was a medical receptionist for Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington and a member of Antioch Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her biological mother, Judy Lucas.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, Paul Williams; two sons, Austin Williams and Colby Williams, both of Paris; three brothers, Jimmy Slone, Tommy Hendricks and Michael Pruitt; and three sisters, Dana Thompson, Leda Turner and Debbie Lucas.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Feb. 23 at 11 a.m. at Ware Funeral Home by the Rev. Jeff Sames. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 1317 U.S. Hwy. 62 East, Cynthiana, KY 41031.
Pallbearers will be Paul Williams, David Marcom, Chester Williams Jr., Richard Banks II, Donald Rhodes, Jeff Williams, Jimmy Slone and Michal Pruitt.
Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Williams and Colby Williams.
