Vivian Kearns Smith, 95, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018 at Cedar Ridge Health Campus.
She was born in Harrison County, April 21, 1923, to the late Lawrence Lee and Alta Arnold Kearns, and was preceded in death by her husband, Holton Allen Smith.
She was a member of the Oddville Homemakers, the Harrison County Hospital Auxiliary, and the Women's Club, was a secretary at State Farm for 22 years and a member of the First Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sisters, Doris Slanker and Lisa (Niles) Tungate; a niece, Jessica (Colin) Swanson; and three nephews, John (Janice) Vanderpool, Justin Vanderpool, and Gary Smith.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. at Ware Funeral Home with Dr. Ted Beam officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Burial will be at the Battle Grove Cemetery Meditation Building.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Caswell Jr., Justin Vanderpool, Gary Smith, Larry Franklin, Bill Doan, Kenny Simpson, Marion Hardin, and W. R. Toadvine.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Methodist Church, 302 E. Pike St., Cynthiana, KY 41031.
