Wanda Frances Owens Hill, 71, Cynthiana, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Berea, March 25, 1945 to the late Jarvis N. and Millie Stewart Owens. She was a homemaker, a member of Faith Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Preston Owens; two sisters, Helen Young and Lillian Owens; and a grandson, Timothy Waylon Medlin.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ernest Glenn "Ernie" Hill; a daughter, Regina (Wayne) Medlin, Cynthiana; two sons, David R. (Lee Ann) Parker, Lexington and Darrin (Michelle) Hill, Cynthiana; a sister, Bessie Hopkins, Mt. Vernon; six grandchildren, Joshua Nelson Medlin, Dakota James Hill, James Hunter Sowder, Kayla Miles, Sean Patrick Hill, and David Nelson Parker; and a great-grandchild, Liam Miles.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 12 p.m. with visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Ware Funeral Home by the Rev. John Chamberlin. Burial will be at Battle Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
