Warren Rees Wilson, 75, Cynthiana, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at Edgemont Healthcare.
He was born in Harrison County, Ky., Feb. 20, 1937, a son of the late Floyd O. and Fannie Irene Anderson Wilson. He was a farmer, a member of Farm Bureau, chairman of the Soil Conservation Board, an Army veteran and member of First United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his son, Lonnie Wilson, and sister, Georgia Sue Criswell.
Survivors include: his wife, Charline Coons Wilson; two daughters, Laura (Scott) Osborn, Fayetteville, Ark. and Becky (Mark) Florence, Harrison County; a brother, Paul (Ruth Ann) Wilson, Harrison County; sister, Janice Stephens, Louisville; daughter-in-law, Ronda Wilson; five grandchildren, Courtney and Belinda Wilson, Christina (Michael) Fuller, Bethaney and Chesley Osborn; and a great-grandson, Michael Rees Fuller.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 3 at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Rick Snyder. Burial was in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
