William ""Bill"" Landry, 87, Cynthiana, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Cedar Ridge Health Campus after a short illness.

He was born in Duluth, Minn., June 19, 1925, to the late Charles and Rose Palmerville Landry. He was owner of the former Ben Franklin of Cynthiana and Flemingsburg, was an active member of Saint Edward Catholic Church and a former member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly Landry; a son, Lawrence ""Larry"" Landry, and five sisters, Marie Kestner, Jeanne Bultman, Frances Cotton, Lois Babcock and Mildred Regis.
Survivors include: his wife, Gertrude Rummelhart Landry; four sons, James (Bonnie) Landry, Bedford, Ind., John (Janet) Landry, Versailles, Randall Landry, Flemingsburg and Charles Landry, Taylor Mill; a daughter, Denise Landry, Proctorville, Ohio; a brother, Ray (Zoanne) Landry, Kent, Wash.; a sister, Dorothy Willms, Saint Paul, Minn.; 11 grandchildren, Regina (Benji) Coleman, William Landry, Ernest Landry, Josef Landry, Mary Landry, Kelly Landry, Joshua Landry, Sarah Landry, Jacob Landry, Alaina Landry and Anthony Chamblin; three great-grandchildren, Kiersten Coleman, Emma Coleman and Hunter York; and a friend, Becky Clark, Ewing.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, Feb. 23 at 11 a.m. at Saint Edward Catholic Church by the Rev. Douglas Lauer. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Ware Funeral Home with Rosary at 8 p.m. Burial will be in Saint Edward Cemetery.
