William Swinford "Bill" Talbott, 68, Cynthiana, died Oct. 23, 2017 at his residence.
He was born in Harrison County, Oct. 2, 1949 to the late William McKinley and Edythe Mae Adair Talbott, and was preceded in death by a brother, John Kenny Talbott and two sisters, Hazel Hall and Sue Talbott. William served in the United States Army for three years during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, Chad (Allison) Willis; a brother, Teddy Taylor; two sisters, Georgia Talbott and Josie Page; a grandchild, Marley Willis; an aunt, Helen Franks; a special friend, Bruce Stone; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 28 at 1 p.m. at Ware Funeral Home by Pastor Stevenson and Morgan Gilkey with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Macedonia Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Ron Michael Talbott, Anthony Talbott, Jamar Talbott, Hud Custard, Alfonzo Bowman, Iran Hayden and Leonard Henry.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lavon Page, Joseph Page, Blaine Henry, Leroy Click, Alfonzo Custard and Deshon Talbott.
