William Wayne Walker, 81, Cynthiana, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012 at his residence.

He was born in Robertson County to the late Walter Eugene and Ethel Duncan Walker. He was a woodworker, talented craftsman and owner of The Wood Shed, and was a member and had served as a deacon at Cynthiana Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James Duncan Walker and a sister, Helen W. Bradley.
Survivors include: his wife, Sue Moore Walker; three daughters, Susan (Rick) Everett, Cynthiana, Rebecca (C.C.) Slone, Lexington and Martha (Kenny) Baber, Cynthiana; three grandchildren, Liz Tussey, Evan Walker Baber and Bennett Baber; and a special niece, Deborah Whitley.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 15 at Ware Funeral Home by Dr. Larry Bishop and Dr. Tim Teater. A private burial was held in Kentontown Cemetery.
