Don Carlos Marsh, 84, Cynthiana died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.

He was born Jan. 6, 1928 in Harrison County, Ky., a son of the late Carlos and Luanna Judy Marsh. He was a lifetime member of the Salem Church of Christ, a retired carpenter and farmer and an honorably discharged Army veteran having served his country during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include: his wife, Marjorie Criswell Marsh; two sons, Paul Milton Marsh, Harrison County and Alan Barlow Marsh, Carlisle; two daughters, Mary Ann (Peter) Gareis, Cochran, Ga. and Beth Elaine (Pete) Conover, Lexington; one sister, Anne Marsh Layton, Lexington; one sister-in-law, June Marsh; six grandchildren, O'Grady Peter Gareis, Nicholas Rogan Gareis, Susan Lee Gareis, Sara Elizabeth Hopkins, Brian David Marsh and Emily Marie Marsh; and two great-grandchildren, Franz Sebastian and Fritz Wolfgang Luppert.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Fred Judy Marsh.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 1 at Salem Church of Christ officiated by Bro. Dale Kendrick and Bro. Lynn White. Burial was in Battle Grove Cemetery. Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
