Betty A. Baker, 84, of DeKalb, Ill., died Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, at Kishwaukee Community Hospital.
She was born Jan. 19, 1924, in Rockford, the daughter of John B. and Anna (Stooland) Judge.
Betty worked for the Motorola Company for 20 years.
She is survived by her three daughters, Kathleen A. (Robert) Webb of Elk Grove Village, Rae Powell of Harvard and Kyle (Bob) Micheil of DeKalb; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Raymond M. Ryan; and her second husband, Leo Baker.
Her memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave. in Sycamore, with Judy Bergeson, diaconal minister of Salem Lutheran Church, officiating. The family will greet friends from noon Saturday until the service time at Butala Funeral Home; 815-895-2833.
