DEKALB – Lynn G. Larson, 69, of DeKalb, Ill., formerly of Maple Park, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, in DeKalb.
Born May 9, 1943, in DeKalb, the daughter of Dale and Gayle (Swanson) Smith, she married Roger H. Larson on July 22, 1962, at Waterman Methodist Church.
Lynn was a devoted wife, business owner, community volunteer, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and Maple Park Fun Fest Committee.
She is survived by her children, Douglas Larson, Dara Johnson and Derrick (Maelissa) Larson; four beautiful grandchildren, Micah and Noah Johnson, and Asher and Ella Lynn Larson; siblings, Marsh (Kathy) Cunz, Randy (Jocelyn) Cunz, Margaret (Paul) Shreeman and Paige (Remme) Malo; and many nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; mother, Gayle Cunz; and fathers, Dale Smith and Kenneth Cunz.
The private family graveside service will be held at North Clinton Cemetery in rural Waterman, with the Rev. Paul Meyers officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at Anderson Funeral Home, DeKalb.
