Pampila S. Beach, 60 of Byron, Ill., formerly of Genoa, died Saturday, July 29, 2006, at Mercy Harvard Hospital.
Born Feb. 16, 1946, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., she was the daughter of William and Opal (Hopper) Ross. She married Hal G. Beach in 1961 in Genoa.
Pampila worked for AG Communications as an assembler for more than 27 years.
She will be dearly missed by her loving family and close friends.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Hal Beach of Byron; three sons, Jeff (Terry) Beach of Davis Junction, Greg (Pam) Beach of Middleton, Wis., and Rodney (Rachel) Beach of Kirkland; six grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Carly, Dylan, Jeffrey Jr. and Kyle; two sisters, Carol Beach of Genoa and Barb Beach of Kingston; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, at Slater-Butala Funeral Home, 132 W. Main St., Genoa, IL 60135, with the Rev. Randy McCoy officiating. Burial will be at Kingston Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
