Uncle Ollie could always make you laugh whether you wanted to or not. His laughter filled the room. His pride in his community was always evident and any visit to Dekalb was filled with Ollie trying to show you everything that had changed since your last visit. Ollie will be missed but will live on in my memories forever.

Uncle Ollie had a great spirit and enjoyed sharing that gift with all of us who love him. I smile and treasure happy memories of being with Uncle Ollie at family gatherings. Love and prayers, Aunt Mary.

Ollie had a beautiful spirit and s generous soul. I meet Ollie in the "water class" at the local YMCA. I still chuckle when I think of all of the laughs and the fun that he and I had when we were supposed to be exercising. Instead we were talking and often just being silly and thus getting everyone around us to be silly also. I loved that man, especially his smile, which I will remember always!

I have known Ollie all of my life. We worked together at Seig in the 70's. Always upbeat, with a great sense of humor, Ollie had a heart of gold. A convert to Catholicism, Ollie was a stellar example to those of us born in the faith. Dona eis requiem et perpetua lux.
