VIVIAN STEPHENS Obituary

Vivian Pearl Stephens, 85, of Phoenix, Ariz., died April 12, 2011, in Phoenix. She was born June 25, 1926, in DeKalb, the daughter of Alanson and Pearl (Nylander) Letheby. She married James Stephens on March 5, 1946, in Chicago. He preceded her in death June 18, 1983. She was also preceded by son, James; stillborn daughter, Sharon; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
She is survived by four sons, Bradley (Kathy) Stephens, Donn (Laura) Stephens, Bryan (Leslie) Stephens and Derwood Stephens; daughter-in-law, Helen; brother, Melvin (Betty) Letheby of Rochelle; 16 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Family graveside services will be held May 10, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Creston.
